Depression, fear and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counselling and treatment, I can offer you support  to recover motivation, perspective and joy that you once had in your life. 

 

Trauma, Post-traumatic stress, racism, cultural issues

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can work together to overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. 

 

Parent counselling and family issues

Parenting can be very challenging at times. I provide space and time for parents (or new parents) and help them to work through emotional difficulties as a result of what your child is going through or general well-being concerns. We can build up strategies together that can improve your awareness, confidence and understanding which helps support you and your family's well being.

Counselling provides a safe, secure, non-judgemental space where we talk together about your goals and hopes. We explore your feelings that are stopping you to live your life the way you wish and difficulties adapting to any changes. Talking to a trained professional can help you to get to the bottom of issues and can help you to develop a positive, creative strategy.


We find change very difficult to cope with. We feel sometimes we are trapped by our own way of thinking, our own way of doing things and our own history. We feel stuck and cannot move forward without feeling fear and anxiety. We feel we need to change but we don't know how to do it. The change starts with losing our own old habits and losing our old way of thinking, which were causing a lot of unhappiness in our life.

Sometimes change comes without any warning and we are caught unprepared. Unpredictable events and difficult situations can force change upon you when you least expect it. Often we are not prepared for that and these difficult events can leave us with confusion and sadness. Any sudden changes force us to begin a new journey but we feel we are not equipped to do that alone.


My work is about helping people to change and the change is a journey itself.  If you feel you need to start a journey which will bring you a positive change and happiness, a new start  and you don't know how to do it, I can help you to begin this journey.
