About Me

 I am a psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist. 

  Our feelings, motives and decisions are powerfully influenced by our past experiences and stored in the unconscious - together we would explore these areas. 

•  Registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotheray (BACP).

• Degree in Psychology (BSc Hons) from the Open University

• Post Graduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent counselling and psychotherapy from Birkbeck University

• Bilingual therapist offering services in both English and Turkish

• 3 years working with the Refugee Therapy Centre in North London, offering counselling and long term therapy to adults suffering from humanitarian issues and post-traumatic stress

• 2 year's experience running group therapy sessions for women with psychosomatic issues. 

• 3 years working with Place2Be, a charity working with schools. I was a school counsellor working with primary age children with challenges such as neglect, autism, bullying and dyslexia

• Volunteered at Home Start Kingston working with vulnerable families for 1 year
